My name is Sydney Edwards and I am the School Counselor at Glen Burnie Park, this will be my sixth year as a Tiger! I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Trinity Washington University. I enjoy traveling, yoga, and walking my dog, Penny! I am looking forward to students shining bright in the building this school year!

My name is Matt Cornelius. I have been teaching for 17 years, and it is my second year at Glen Burnie Park! I graduated from Point Park University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I live with my wife, Amy, and my daughter Keely. Not to mention my Dogs, Hampton, and Hines. Some of my hobbies are running, sports, and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to working with the staff, students, and parents of GBPE to continue to help students be their best!!

Some of my hobbies are sports, automotive restoration, and watching movies. I am looking forward to providing positive direction and guidance for our academic community.

I graduated from James Madison University and went to graduate school at the College of William & Mary. I enjoy hikes, board games, puzzles, spending time with family/friends, and visiting new places. I love working with students, staff and families and am looking forward to a great year ahead!

My name is Angela Nambiar. I have been working as an AACPS Bilingual facilitator for 5 years and it is my second year at Glen Burnie Park Elementary! I am originally from Colombia, South America. I came to the USA in 2000. I have a degree in Music Education and I even though I am not teaching now, I am very happy to work for a School System! I am looking forward to this new School year. I live with husband, three daughters and dog, Jasper. Some of my hobbies are baking and reading. I am looking forward to having an exciting year of learning and growing.
