Hi Everyone! Here is a little information about me.

I was born on an island in the Pacific Ocean, moved to Alabama when I was one year old. We lived in Alabama until I was in Kindergarten. During my elementary school years, my family moved to Massachusetts and stayed there until I was in High School. That's when we moved to Maryland.

I went to college at the University of Maryland and earned an Art Education Degree. That's right, I used to be an Art teacher! During my first years of teaching, I worked in Charles County. While I was there, I earned my Master's Degree at Bowie State University.

I started as a School Counselor at Overlook ES and came to Cape St. Claire in 2014. I teach preventative counseling on topics like understanding and dealing with strong emotions, how to keep your body safe, college and career readiness, etc. I also run small groups and see children for individual concerns.
