Book Fairs:
We will host a fall and spring book fair this year. The fall fair will take place October 19-25 1 in the media center during school hours.

Central Middle Library Media Center Mission:
The mission of the Central Middle Library Media Center is to ensure that all students are effective users of ideas and information. This is accomplished by providing:
Effective instruction of 21st century literacy, communication and technology skills,
Exposure to various forms of media,
Recreational opportunities centered on reading, literacy and community.

Students may visit the media center:
With a teacher during a scheduled class
On their own:
Before school: Students may stop by to return and check out books between the first bell and the start of first period
During classes: ONLY WITH A SIGNED PASS FROM THEIR CLASSROOM TEACHER AND A VALID REASON TO BE HERE
During lunch: Students may sign up for a pass with Ms. Dutton or Mrs. Eriksen in the morning before lunch, then go to their assigned lunch, eat and then come to the media center. Students will not be permitted to bring food to the media center.
After school: See Ms. Dutton for details
Check outs:
3 books - three weeks at a time, unlimited renewals
*Fines are for lost or damaged items
