Student Chromebooks
New Enrollees - New students will be receiving their assigned Chromebooks through our Technology Support Technician ------ Austin Delph adelph@aacps.org
Identifying Chromebooks - Please ensure all Chromebooks have a student name on them. This helps prevent students from taking other’s devices, and solves a lot of issues before they happen.
Chromebook Fixes -Please have them attempt to fix the device themselves, most issues can be resolved in this manner by using the tips and tricks above.
If the Chromebook is still having issues please have them bring the device to the Media Center and fill out a form for repair.

Technology Guide - single document, organized via headings - Chromebook Troubleshooting
Student Password Reset – A Chromebook will allow a login with an expired password. If a student is on their CB, but nothing else works, their passwords needs to be reset. Please schedule a time for the student to visit Mr. Delph.
Student Password Setups – Students are required to set up the password self-rest/security questions. The instructions are found on ClassLink in the Secure Your Account folder.
In-school Loaner Chromebook Policy
Loaners are primarily for students to use when theirs is being repaired. (any CB with bright tape on the cover is a LOANER and never leaves the building).
Students may only check out a loaner Chromebook from media when they have forgotten their CB - ONLY IF the classroom teacher feels that the Chromebook is necessary for them to complete an assignment and the classroom CB (or desktop) is not available. IF the classroom teacher determines the student must have a Chromebook, the student can come to Media with a hand written note from the teacher requesting a loaner… If this occurs more than 5 times, administration will be notified.
We will not be loaning CHARGERS to students.
