We are asking students to help promote the student festival. The winning posters will be displayed at the festival and throughout the community.
The poster content will have two divisions: one for middle school students and one for high school students. The contest is open to any student who resides in Anne Arundel County.
Submissions are due at midnight on December 1st, 2025.
Educators: Please encourage your students to enter the AA Film & Digital Media Festival Poster Contest either as individuals or as part of a class assignment or project.

Include the artist(s) name and grade on the poster along the lower border of the design.
Final PDF Files should be named as follows:

Posters will be printed up to 11"x17", displayed on presentation screens, posted on social media platforms, etc. Posters may be printed as small as 4"x6". Please consider these dimensions when creating the graphics or choosing a font.
Clear designs with highly visible elements are suggested.
Using digital media elements (digital illustration, digital photography, graphic design, etc.) in the design is preferred but not required.
Contest winners may be asked for native files required for reproduction.
Files become the property of the AA Film & Digital Media Festival.
Judging will be in January, and the winners will be notified by January 30th, 2026.
The Festival committee values creativity and originality. Work that is submitted must be original work created by the applicant. If the entered work is found to have been copied from another source, is AI-generated, or contains copyrighted components, the work will be disqualified.
