High School Dance Ensemble is a performing group consisting of technically advanced high school dancers in AACPS. Ensemble performs in Anne Arundel County Dance Festivals, in other dance concerts, and by invitation throughout the school year. Qualifying dancers must be a member of their home school's Dance Company and enrolled in the Honors Dance Company academic course. Dancers must audition for ensemble and are selected based on scores in ballet, modern, and jazz. Ensemble dancers must be a member in good standing with their school's Dance Company, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and commit to a full year of rehearsals and performances, including all three AACPS Dance Festival Galas.
