Diceros bicornis

The Black Rhinoceros, also known as the Diceros bicornis, are an endangered species that live in southeastern Africa. These animals regularly are found in open grasslands and floodlands. These animals have tusks that can grow up to 4 feet long! These animals protect themselves from sunburns and insects by rolling themselves in mud and dust. A cool fact about these animals is they can stay up to 5 days without water by taking moisture from plants.
