Environmental Committee Goals 2023-2024:
Education: We have initiated discussions within the school community about recycling, water security, and environmental sustainability. ✅
Recycling: We now have a recycling system for many of the plastic water bottles consumed at school. ✅
Refill Station: To reduce our plastic consumption, we have raised money towards a Refill Station and are looking forward to seeing this final goal through! ☑️

Our environmental committee and student body is working hard to make our comunity a better place! Every week, students are helping to collect, recycle, and reduce the plastic bottles thrown away at our school! Help us by brainstorming ways that you can reduce your waste and by only putting plastic bottles in the big green bins at school!

Recycling Plastic Water Bottles
At the moment, our school is using over 700 plastic water bottles EVERY DAY! These bottles have unfortunately ended up in landfill, which means they become pollution and may not decompose for 500 years!
Now, however, we are working with the recycling company, Tadweir, who have just started to collect our plastic water bottles each month!
