Russo-Ukrainian Conflict
Almost two years after Russia invaded Ukraine, fighting is still ongoing, endangering civilians and causing extensive damage to infrastructure such as housing, heating, and utilities. People are being evacuated from frontline areas to unfamiliar locations, having already endured the destruction of their homes and various wartime traumas. Despite Ukraine’s counter-offensive that began in June 2023, little has changed in recent months. With no end to the war in sight, Over 6 million individuals fled, and several million remain displaced within the country. This is one of Europe’s bloodiest conflicts since World War II. Ukraine's civilian population faces an ongoing humanitarian crisis that worsens daily.
