Kamatsu Satoshi

Aug.28: The Kamatsu Satoshi Exhibition is being held at Seikodo Gallery in Ginza from Aug. 26 to 31, under the theme "Hortus meus flores secretus".

Flowers have long fascinated artists all over the world and the beauty of flowers can be demonstrated through diverse artistic styles with skills and creativity.

He is versatile and can draw anything with his remarkable talent, but he demonstrates an incredible skill regarding painting flowers with a sense of aesthetics and realism.

The exhibition showcases two large ones and several medium and small paintings. Light and darkness, along with the vivid colors of roses, lilies, and peonies, were used to enhance the contours and distinct shapes and curves. 

The petals of flowers and leaves feature an incredible level of realistic appearance. His paintings capture the soft and subtle beauty of the nature or flowers and impress viewers.
