Zara's comes from a long line of grocery men. Our grandfather traveled the streets of New Orleans by horse and wagon in the early 1900's, bringing fresh groceries right to your door. Our father took the business inside and opened his first store on Metairie Road.  Albert Zara continue to serve the people of New Orleans today on Prytania Street. Our 4838 Prytania Street location is a modern and convenient full scale grocery store including an on-site butcher and deli with Po-Boys, prepared foods and party trays. Our knowledgeable staff is always ready to assist you with your selections, or tempt you with something new.
