Academic Year 2024-25:
Please see the confirmed times for training for semester two. The sessions on campus will run from the 10th Feb- 4th April, breaking for Easter and resuming 22nd April - May 1st. Off campus sessions will run consistently from January - Mid June.
Monday 5:30pm-7pm beginners session in the main hall
This session is a structured session, planned and run by the committee, aiming to teach beginner level gymnastics skills. This ranges from basics such as cartwheels and handstands, to beginning to learn flics and front somersaults on an air track. We will work with you depending on your level! There is also the opportunity to learn some basic beam and vault skills.
Monday 8:30-10pm at Leeds Gymnastics Club
We arrange transport to this session (and thus are usually limited to 10 spaces per week). This session is run by Leeds Gymnastics coaches who can help you if needed, however there is no structure and you are welcome to use the gym as you please.
Thursday 2-3:30pm Competition at York City Gymnastics
This is a structured session, planned and run by the committee, which will focus on varying skill levels for 2 to 3 apparatus per week. We strongly encourage those interested in competing to attend if they are available, however all are welcome.
Friday 5-6:30pm beginners training in the main hall
This session is suited to beginners, exactly the same as the Monday session.
Saturday 4-5:30pm at York City Gymnastics
This session is an open session for all abilities. We will have a structured warm up, stretch and basics/conditioning for the first half hour and you will get an hour to work on whatever you want using all the equipment in the gym.

Session Fees:
£6 pay per session for pay as you go members (£9 for Leeds sessions).
Annual Membership: £90 (+ £6 fee for Leeds sessions)
Semester membership: £55 (+ £6 fee for Leeds sessions)
You also have to pay the £30 black tier AU Fee that goes towards the Sports Union for insurance, however you only have to pay this once and it will cover you for any other sports clubs you join!
