Welcome To Ranchwood counselor's corner!

Thank you so much for visiting my website.

I have had the privilege of serving as Ranchwood's counselor since 2000. Prior to that, I taught kindergarten and 2nd grade in several OKC and Yukon schools. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Relations & Child Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) and a Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. I am certified by the Oklahoma Department of Education in early childhood education, elementary and secondary counseling, and elementary administration.

My goal is to aid in equipping students to develop academically, personally and socially. We strive to create an environment that nurtures problem solving, responsibility and growth. I work with students individually, in small groups and through classroom guidance. I am also available to work with parents, school personnel and other professionals to help provide the best possible resources and services for our students and families. Together we can help make the early school years a rewarding learning experience, and lay the foundation for our children's future success and achievement.
