YiShin, the branch of TaiPing Elementary school is established on Feb.2, 1984.
YiShin TaiPing Elementary school was formally established and Principal Su Feng Lin was the first principal of Yi Shin on Aug 1, 1987.
YiShin obtained the third place in biological group of National Science Exhibition in 1986.
YiShin won the Zhong-Jun Cup handball competition of girls group in 1990.
We had excellent performance in carrying out the children literature in Taichung County of 1993.
We had excellent performance in carrying out democracy and law education in Taichung County of 1997.
This school participated in the Chungkang cup weekend league matches and won the champion in dodge ball in 1997.
YiShin was evaluated as the second place in reconstruction for damage of Herb Typhoon in 1997.
We obtained the second place in Taichung County of elementary education projects in January of 1997.
YiShin had excellent performance in the recycling evaluation in Taichung County in June of 1997.
YiShin obtained the first place in the teacher's group of the debate competition in Taichung County in May of 1998.
YiShin won the champion in Teachers' group of debate competition among five counties nearby Taichung in 1998.
Principal Su is transferred to ChiauZhong elementary school and Principal Wei Shim ming was taken over.
We established the nation educational resource center of Taichung in February of 1999.
921 earthquake damaged the campus. Thanks to the adoption of TaiSun foundation school for parents benefited a lot. And TaiSun foundation helped this school to hold lecture every year. The Zihciang Elementary School, Jhonghe City, Taipei County also adopted this school and became the sisters' school.
The resource class was established in August of 2003.
The school voluntary group was established in September of 2003.

Principal Wei retired and Principal Lin Li Chin was as the third principal of Yi Shin in Aug of 2004.

Set up the school historical room and composed the school song in December of 2006.Principal Wei Shim ming composed lyrics and teacher Shi Fu Zhen was as the composer.

The kendo supporting association was renamed as TaiPing Kendo development association.
Obtained the second place of dialects drama contest in Taichung in November of 2007.
Obtained Taichung first grade dance match in November of 2007.
YiShin was awarded the first place in groups of dialects contest.
We had outstanding performance in dialects evaluation of Taichung County in 2008.
YiShin was excellent as the information seed school of Taichung County in 2008.

In 2009, Mr. Chang Jin-Wei was elected President of the 23rd Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Yixin Elementary School.
In August 2009, the kendo team won third place in the team event and first place in the individual event at the international kendo competition hosted in Korea.
In August 2009, the Butterfly Ecological Park “Butterfly Star Garden” was completed, established by the MOXA Heart Foundation.
In November 2009, PTA Standing Member Ms. Chen Ling-Chun donated NT$100,000, and together
with the PTA, helped establish the 4th-floor library to promote reading education.
In December 2009, the school received an A-level rating in the Taichung County Friendly Campus Evaluation for unvisited schools.

In August 2010, the school received the Top Excellence Award in the Educational Volunteer Service Utilization Evaluation for schools in the Tun District.
In October 2010, the school won third place in the Taichung County English Chanting Contest (Elementary School Group A).

(Senior Grades Division).
In December 2010, the school received an A-level rating in the written review of the “Ministry of Education After-School Tutoring Program.”

In 2011, Mr. Ruan Jin-Yong was elected President of the 25th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
On February 1, 2011, Principal Lin Li-Ching was transferred to Chang-Yi Elementary School, and Principal Wang Feng-Xiong became the 4th principal.
In 2012, the school won: 1st place in teacher–student recorder ensemble (instructed by Teacher Chang Zhi-Yi), 3rd place in ensemble (instructed by Teacher Tsai Chiung-Hui), 3rd place in solo performance, and another 3rd place in ensemble performance.
In 2012, the school won 2nd place in Group B of the Taichung City English Reading Competition.
From 2011 to 2015, the kendo team achieved multiple championships, runner-up titles, and
third-place finishes in the President’s Cup, Speaker’s Cup, and Elite Cup tournaments.
From 2012 to 2015, students won numerous championships, runner-up titles, and third-place
finishes in the Taichung Mayor’s Cup Taekwondo Poomsae Competition.
In 2012, Ms. Wu Shu-Juan was elected President of the 26th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2012, the school won third place in the Taichung City Mandarin Competition (Team Category).
In 2013, Mr. Lai Chen-Yi was elected President of the 27th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2013, the school earned third place in the Taichung City Mandarin Competition,continuing for three consecutive years (2013–2015).
In 2014, Mr. Jiang Yao-Tong was elected President of the 28th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.

In 2015, Mr. Hsieh Ching-Ding was elected President of the 29th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.

In 2016, the first-floor library was completed and officially opened.
In 2016, the 30th Anniversary Celebration Preparatory Committee was established, consisting of former PTA Presidents Lin Jin-Yong (Chair), Hsu Huang-Tong (Vice Chair), Honorary Chair Zhu Zhao-Rong, and previous PTA presidents.
In 2017, Mr. Lin Bing-Cheng was elected President of the 31st PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2017, calligrapher Teacher Liu Kun-Fa (Yan-Chen) created the official inscription for the school name at the main entrance.
In 2017, the school’s recorder ensemble earned an Excellent Award in the National Music Competition (instructed by Teacher Chang Zhi-Yi).
On May 8, 2017, the school’s main gate and newly constructed guardhouse were inaugurated.
On August 1, 2017, Principal Wang Feng-Xiong was transferred to Jian-Gong Elementary School, and Principal Li Shen-Shan became the 5th principal.
In 2018, Mr. Wang Chong-Hua was elected President of the 32nd PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2018, the school earned one silver and five bronze medals in the Taichung Mayor’s Cup Taekwondo Championships.
In 2018, the school won second place overall in the Boys’ A Division at the Taiping District Elementary Track and Field Championships.
In 2019, Mr. Hung Liang-Jie was elected President of the 33rd PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2020 and 2021, Ms. Zhu Chun-Rong was elected President of the 34th and 35th PTAs of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2022, Mr. Chang Gong-He was elected President of the 36th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
On October 13, 2022, the new activity center of Yixin Elementary School was completed and inaugurated.
In 2023, Mr. Hsu Wen-Ching was elected President of the 37th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
On August 1, 2024, Principal Li Shen-Shan was transferred to Zhu-Zai-Keng Elementary School, and Principal Tsai Chen-Jie became the 6th principal.
In 2024, Mr. Hsu Wen-Ching was re-elected President of the 38th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
In 2025, Mr. Wu Wei-Zhun was elected President of the 39th PTA of Yixin Elementary School.
