Hello, my name is Adrienne Cusano and this is my 22nd year teaching in the Yorktown School District.

I have a Masters Degree in Education and I am dual certified: K-6 and Special Education.

I have taught both 1st and 2nd grade here at Mohansic.

I am a resident of Yorktown since 1991 with my husband, Gary. I have two children, Allie (32) and Greg (29)

both graduates of the Yorktown Central School District.

I love reading, traveling and trying new restaurants.

My favorite place to be is on the beach with a good book and my family of course.

My Teaching Philosophy:

To open the mind of every child and challenge them.
To have children explore, experiment and discover.
To allow each child to be heard and be given the opportunity to think for themselves and become active learners.
