Who is Mr. Carter?

I am really excited to be teaching 4th grade at 

Coastal Ridge Elementary.  

Here are a few things about me.

• I recently moved to Southern Maine from Madawaska Maine where I was teaching Special Ed for 6 years.

• I have a Master's Degree in Literacy Education from the University of Southern Maine. I achieved that degree in 2008.

• In my free time I enjoy cooking, going to the beach, and having a nice dinner out with friends.

• I am an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.  I am hoping to go to a Pat's game this upcoming fall. 

• I love to travel.  A few places I have on my bucket list to visit are:  

  • Italy and Greece, 

  • Australia,  

  • The Grand Canyon.
