About

I am a lecturer in the Department of Economics and Related Studies at the University of York. My research interests are mainly in time series econometrics, but with a strong link to economic theory. My current research focuses on the effects of aggregating economic variables both through time and across an economy.

Before arriving at York I taught at the University of Reading and Essex University, where I completed my PhD. I have also taught mathematics in a London comprehensive school and been a civil servant in Her Majesty's Treasury, doing a range of jobs including monitoring and forecasting public expenditure and managing a £400 million innovation fund.
