EXPEDITED GRANT PROCESS

Applicants download the latest form from the Yarmouth Staff or Student Intranet.
Complete the application as a Google Doc
Share the application with the Principal
Principal reviews and notifies Applicant of approval
Applicant sends the approved form to yefsecretary@gmail.com
YEF Board reviews applications on a monthly basis
Final decisions and notifications follow
Note: Remember, expedited grants support smaller or pilot projects (up to $500) and are reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. No presentation is required for expedited grants, but principal approval is needed.
STANDARD GRANT CYCLE

Share with Principal
Principal reviews and submits to Superintendent via designated Google Drive folder (standard cycle)
Superintendent forwards approved grant applications to YEF President
Applicants are notified of their presentation time slot and prep requirements (or given options for time slots) by the Grants Committee Chair.
After presentations, the Grant Committee Chair organizes the review of approved grants and presents them at the next YEF Board meeting. The YEF Board votes on final approvals.
Note: All applications must be electronic. Signatures are captured through principal name/email. Paper submissions are not accepted.

November 3–7: Grant presentations and committee voting (1–2 evening meetings)
Mid-November: Grant Winner Announcements (around this date)
SPRING 2026
March 20: Applications due
April 6–10: Grant presentations and committee voting (1–2 evening meetings)
Mid-April: Grant Winner Announcements (around this date)
