Homework

Homework is an opportunity for practice, reinforcement, or extension of classroom learning. Students may have homework 4 nights a week. Regular completion of homework maximizes learning, as lessons are naturally sequenced. If homework is not completed, the student will be asked to stay for Homework Club on the day homework is not completed or the next regularly scheduled Homework Club.

One can expect up to an hour of homework for sixth graders. This comes in the form of 15-20 minutes of reading or writing, with the remainder of the time being devoted to the other subject areas.
