Steps to Request a Copy of Your High School Transcript

In order to obtain a copy of your academic transcript/student records from the Yancey County School System, please complete the transcript request form, along with a copy of a photo ID** and the $5.00 processing fee*. Upon completion, either fax to 828-682-4287, deliver in person, or mail to the following address:

*There is a $5.00 processing fee for transcripts. Make checks payable to Mountain Heritage High School and mail it to the address above with the Transcript Request Form.

**Please include a copy of a photo ID with your Transcript Request Form.

Graduates before 1976 must contact the Yancey County School Board at (828) 682-6101 or fax the request to (828) 682-7110. A notarized signature is not required at this time. However, Yancey County Schools reserves the right to require a notarized signature before request is processed.
