Mountain Heritage Preschool - Cougar Cubs
We are a Five-Star Licensed Preschool
Our mission is to provide a happy, relaxed and safe learning environment where children are encouraged to explore and learn. Parents are encouraged to take an active role in the preschool to build a strong relationship between the parents, staff and children to foster a strong foundation for future learning.
The preschool serves as a learning center for the Mtn. Heritage High School Early Childhood Education students where they observe the appropriate care and education of young children. Students get to observe a developmentally appropriate curriculum being taught to preschool children and learn from the daily interactions that occur between teachers and students.
Program Philosophy
The Mountain Heritage Preschool is designed to meet the needs of both preschool students and high school students. We strive to provide a comprehensive curriculum that enhances each child’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. The program is designed to prepare all students for future learning in the next stage of their lives.
Program Goals
The goals of the Mountain Heritage Preschool Program are to:
Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for all children.
Encourage children to be actively engaged in their learning.
Provide children with a variety of stimulating learning experiences.
Encourage children to learn from their interaction with others.
Enhance the children’s natural curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Encourage parent participation and interaction.
Consistently provide a high-quality preschool classroom.
Foster each child’s self-esteem and promote a strong sense of accomplishment.

Instructional Day: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Morning Drop-Off: 7:30 am - 8:00 am
Afternoon Pickup: 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm
