Project: English around the world
How much do you know about English? And what about the countries where English is spoken?
This project will help you to find information about the most important English-speaking countries. You will learn about their location in the world, their symbols, their music, sport and main attractions. Have fun!
In this project, you will :
1. Surf English web pages and find information about English-speaking countries
2. Organize the information in order to create a Prezi presentation
3. Present your project to your classmates speaking English
4. Work in groups, sharing your ideas and your abilities in order to do a good job!

Find out about the capital city and other important cities in the country, the flag, population and currency.
2. GEOGRAPHY
Find out about the highest mountains and main rivers

Find out about the most important places to visit, the most popular sport, music and the typical food
4.LET'S PREPARE OUR ORAL PRESENTATION!
Make a presentation using PREZI to tell your partners about the country you've been working on.
EVALUATION
you will have two marks: a group mark and an individual mark.
For the group mark, your teacher will assess:
The quality of the information and if you have included all the information in the PREZI presentation
The correct use of English (vocabulary, grammar, spelling,…)
The layout of the presentation (colours, photos,…)
For the individual mark, your teacher will assess:
Your participation in the group work
Your speaking performance during the oral presentation: preparation, fluency, pronunciation, etc.
