Today in class we introduced mathematical modeling by doing the "Population of the World" activity.

Homework: Find an example of something that you think involves MATHEMATICAL MODELING. This may be an object from your house, an article about something, or other examples.... Be prepared to share this in class tomorrow.

Since you're already online, you might as well google "mathematical modeling" and see what shows up...
