About Our Club
Our club was founded in January 2000 by a handful of local residents who had the vision to establish a computer club where seniors and seniors with disabilities could learn to use and enjoy technology in a rapidly changing society.
We are a Not-For-Profit organisation completely manned by unpaid senior volunteers. We cater for many interests – not just computers - although that is the prime focus. We also have an active social life which includes bus trips, bowling contests, photography group etc.
The Tutors and Assistants take things at a leisurely pace with plenty of opportunity for quiet individual attention if you are confused, and there is plenty of opportunity for a laugh and a chat. Participants receive easy to follow manuals and notes that have been written by our senior volunteers for seniors.
We meet at the Wangi R.S.L. Club 275 Watkins Rd, Wangi Wangi. The club on the shores of the beautiful Lake Macquarie in NSW.
