November Newsletter
Hello to all Polka Dot families!
It’s hard to believe that November has arrived but here we are!
It was wonderful to meet with so many of you during parent teacher conferences. If you were unable to attend and would like to schedule one, please let me know.
Our theme for the month is Nursery Rhymes and we will be talking about what it means to be thankful. All of our books, activities and crafts revolve around our monthly theme. We will start the month focused on nursery rhymes and will transition to books such as; Bear Says Thanks and Turkey Trouble as Thanksgiving approaches.
Some important dates this month:
November 11th - No school (Veteran’s Day)
November 26 - 28th - No school (Thanksgiving break)
Some housekeeping and for our new families:
We go outside as long as the “feels like” temperature is above 25 (weather permitting) so please send your child in appropriate gear. The classroom tends to get really warm so layers are great!
We are a nut free building so please send your child with one nut free snack and drink.
I wish you all a healthy month! Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Miss Shannon
