Reading:
Sight Words
Make flashcards
Play GoFish (use 2 sets of flashcards)
Play sight word bingo
Go on a sight word hunt- If you have a magazine or newspaper, work together to find sight words.
Read together
Listen to your child read and ask them questions about the book
Read to your child and have a conversation about the book
Writing:
Practice writing trick words
Practice writing words that can be sounded out
CVC words (consonant-vowel-consonant)- cap, hot, pet
CVCe words (consonant-vowel-consonant-e)- bike, hope
CCVC/CVCC- flat, send
Words containing- sh (ship), ch (chin), th (thumb)
Practice writing sentences with a capital, finger spaces, and punctuation
Make a book- fiction or nonfiction
Staple a few pages together and have kids write and illustrate their own book!
Keep a writing journal
Try to write three sentences and then draw a detailed picture to go along with it.

Favorite game to play, explain how to play it
Favorite Disney movie, explain your favorite character
Favorite season and why?
If you found a pot of Gold, what would you do?

Math:
Practice math facts
Use a deck of cards to make number sentences
Use dice-
Roll and write the number, then add ten.
Roll dice and subtract one.
Roll the dice, write the number, and then roll again and add the two numbers.
Practice ordering numbers- If you have the grocery ads, use those to find numbers. Cut them out and put them in order from smallest to largest.
