2024-2025 Naquag Elementary School

Second Grade Supply List

Although the materials listed below are not required, the second-grade teachers suggest these items would be helpful to the students.

• Backpack, book bag

• Refillable water bottle

• Pencil box or pencil bag

• Pencils – 24 (Dixon Ticonderoga pencils work best with our sharpeners *helpful, if pre-sharpened)

• Crayons – a box of 16 or 24 is perfect (please, no large boxes)

• Erasers - pencil top or small pink block erasers are great

• Scissors – Fiskars are the best!

• 6 large or 12 small glue sticks

• 1 - two-pocket folder for desk papers

• Headphones (to be used only by your child and returned in June). If sending in earbuds, please make sure your child can use them independently. We have found that headphones seem easier to most of the children.

• Thin Black Expo dry erase markers - fine tip, low order are best (suggested amount of 10-12 markers)

Optional donation items that will be shared with the class:

Boxes of tissues

Rolls of paper towels

• Box of Ziploc bags (gallon, or 2.5 gallon sized)

Disinfectant wipes

• Second-grade teachers may ask for additional items as the need arises.
