I graduated from the University of UMaine Orono in 2020 where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Social Work. I was an intern in the Bangor Public School District and devoted most of my hours at James F. Doughty Middle School and Fairmount Elementary School. I was in the Horticulture Club, Green Team, Animal Science Club, Engaged Black Bear, and was a research assistant at the PEERS Clinic for Maine Autism Institute of Education and Research.
I then went right on to UMass Amherst where I graduated in 2022 with a dual degree in School Counseling, a Master's in Education and an Education Specialist degree. I interned for two years in the Hopkinton Public School System at Elmwood Elementary and also in the Weston Public School System at Weston High School, both in Massachusetts.
I started at WES in September of 2022 and have loved every moment of it. I leave school feeling so grateful that I get to spend my day with such amazing people and students! My favorite part of my day is going into the classrooms to teach the guidance lessons! You can check out what we do under the guidance lesson tab of my website!
In my free time, I love to go to the beach, read books, take care of my chickens and plants, antique, hang out with family and friends, and play with my puppy, Navie!
Navie is a Golden Mountain Dog - a mix of a Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog! She loves to swim, paddleboard and go on long beach walks - just like me! She will hopefully be a therapy dog someday!
Some of my chicken babies! I have 21 chickens! My first chicken is in the middle (red scarf) and named Raisin! She is 8.5 years old - older than some of our students! :)
