Introduction to Chemistry
This one-trimester elective is designed to give you a brief introduction to the study of chemistry, and to prepare you for future chemistry classes at WHS and beyond. The class will enhance your basic knowledge of chemistry and provide practice in unit conversion, balancing equations, naming chemical compounds, and more. Experiments with chemical reactions will be performed throughout the trimester, and you are expected to follow all lab rules at all times to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
If you feel you are falling behind or need extra help (or just have a question!) PLEASE visit me after school or email me at any time - I'm available most days after school, but please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.
