Brownbag Book Report
For the next few weeks, we are going to be working on a special type of book report. You will select a chapter book that is in your Lexile range and is fictional. However, instead of writing a paper about the book, you will select FIVE OBJECTS that represent part of the story. The objects should be important to the plot, characters, setting, or theme of the book, and should all fit in a grocery sack, hence “brownbag book report.” For each object, you will write at least five sentences on an index card about why that object is related to the book and why you chose to include it. Book selections are due by Friday, November 14th, progress check will be on Friday, December 5th, and the project will be due on Friday, December 12th.
