Canvas Observer Account Help

Parents can sign up as an observer in Canvas. Observers can link their Canvas account to their student's account so they can see assignment dues dates, announcements, and other course content. Observers can view the course content but cannot participate in the course.

The Canvas Parent app is the mobile version of Canvas that helps parents stay up-to-date with their student's courses. Canvas Parent enhances the potential for parents to engage in their children's education. Parents can review upcoming or past assignments, check on grades, and receive alerts for student activity.

Parents can use the Canvas Parent app on all iOS and Android devices.
