Education:

- 2001 graduate of Windber Area High School
- 2005 Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the Indiana University of PA (concentrations in Reading and Math)
- Middle Level Mathematics certification
- 2010 Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Gannon University

Teaching Experience:

- 1 year teaching 6th grade English at Windber Middle School
- 14 years teaching 2nd grade at Windber Elementary School
- 4 years teaching 4th grade (Math and Science) at Windber
  Elementary School
- 1 year being the Math Interventionist/Coach for Grades K4 - 8

What do I do as a Math Interventionist?

As a Math Interventionist, I work closely with students who need extra support in math. My goal is to identify gaps in understanding, build foundational skills, and help each student grow in confidence and ability. Through small-group or one-on-one instruction, I tailor lessons to meet students where they are and guide them toward meaningful progress.

What do I do as a Math Coach?

As a Math Coach, I collaborate with teachers to support effective math instruction in the classroom. This includes providing resources, co-teaching, modeling lessons, analyzing student data, and sharing strategies that promote deeper understanding and student engagement. Together, we work toward building a strong, cohesive math program that benefits all learners.
