I am excited to work with you during the 2023-2024 school year at Windber Elementary.  I look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones.  We have a busy and exciting year in store for us. We are going to work hard, learn, grow, and have so much fun in the process!

Teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility.  I am committed to creating a positive learning environment where your child is loved, valued, and an integral part of our classroom.  I will also need your help. We both need to be partners in the learning process. I need each of you to encourage your child at home by reading over the Family Letters that will go home before each unit and go over the papers brought home together.  The family letters will keep you up-to-date on the specific skills that are being taught in math.  They will also give you background information, vocabulary, and ideas to bring the math application into your home. I know that with your help we are going to have a great year!
