*** Prior to each unit test, students will receive a reference study sheet to help them prepare for the upcoming test.  Students will also complete a study guide (practice test) prior to each unit test that reviews the skills and concepts that will be assessed.  Students will be encouraged  and reminded to take these study sheets and guides home to study and review prior to taking the tests.

*** Homework may be assigned Monday - Thursday in any of the following forms:  home links, review worksheets, practice problems, or math boxes,  Assignments are posted daily on the classroom board and can be found on my teacher website (under "Lesson Plans").

TEXT BOOK:

 All students have access to a Student Reference Book (SRB).    This resource can assist students with learning mathematical concepts and skills and can provide additional explanations and examples for classroom content. This book can be taken home at any time.   Students may keep these books in their lockers.

MY EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

*  1996 graduate of Windber Area High School

*  2000 graduate of University of Pittsburgh at  Johnstown (Bachelor's Degree in Education)

*  2007 graduate of Saint Francis University (Master's Degree in Education)

*  Previously taught Second Grade and Fifth Grade at Windber Area Elementary School

* Currently teaching 6th Grade Math and Problem Solving 6 at Windber Area Middle School
