GRADE 6 EVERYDAY MATHEMATICS
Materials needed daily for class:
* Student Journal
* Pencil
*SRB (student reference book) - optional
***Students will receive reference study sheets and will complete practice tests / study guides prior to each unit assessment. These sheets / packets should be taken home and reviewed before each unit test.
*** Homework may be assigned Monday - Thursday in any of the following forms: home links, review worksheets, or math boxes, Assignments are posted daily on the classroom board and can be found on my teacher website (under "lesson plans"). If a student fails to turn in homework, he or she will be given an opportunity to redo the assignment for half credit. If the student chooses not to redo the assignment, a zero will be given. (In the case of excused absences, students can make up assignments with no penalties.)

Students will solve problems revolving around the 5 Domains of the Common Core State Standards:
1. Ratios and Proportional Relationships
2. The Number System
3. Expressions and Equations
4. Geometry
5. Statistics and Probability

GRADING SCALE
TEXT BOOKS:
All students have access to a Student Reference Book (SRB). This resource can assist students with learning mathematical concepts and skills and can provide additional explanations and examples for classroom content. This book can be taken home at any time. Students may keep these books in their lockers.
