About Me

I am a 2008 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where I received my Bachelors degree in Neuroscience. I received my Masters degree in Special and Elementary Education in 2012 from California University of Pennsylvania. 

I began my teaching career with the Windber Area School District in 2013, and have served as a learning support teacher as well as a gifted support teacher.  I am the co-adviser for the High School Yearbook and High School Student Council.  I am a member of the PBIS teacher team, the Student Assistance Program teacher team, and assistant adviser of the Leo Club, Windber chapter. 

I play the cello with the Community Strings Ensemble of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, and enjoy reading, writing,  camping,  and water and snow skiing.
