Classroom News

Report Cards for 1st grade are standards based and will be issued 4 times per school year. Midterm reports will not be issued for first grade.  Literacy and math are the only subjects assessed. 

(Yellow) Reading Vocabulary Folders are to be kept at home.  Please place word lists and assessments in this folder for future practice and review. Vocabulary lists will be given at the beginning  of each reading unit.  There are 7 units in the Good Habits Great Readers program.  Each unit consists of 4 weeks of stories or poems.  Vocabulary tests will be administered at the end of each week and a cumulative assessment at the end of each unit.

 Tissue & Clorox  wipe donations are welcome and greatly appreciated.
