Classroom Rules:
1) Students are responsible for getting to class on time. The focus of the classroom rules revolve around the mastering of three key terms – RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and ORGANIZATION. All rules and regulations followed in the student handbook will be followed in the classroom.
2) Students are to be in class on time with all required materials.
a. Required Materials: Chromebook (charged) pencil, class folder, and completed homework.
3) Students will respect all people, including themselves, and all property (CHROMEBOOKS), including their own, at all times.
4) CELL PHONES ARE NOT TO BE USED IN CLASS – If I see the cell phone I will confiscate it.

Assessment Types:
A. Tests, Quizzes, Homework, Participation, Projects, and In Class Assignments.
B. Homework Policy:
a. Students are responsible for completing all work assigned and they should be prepared to turn it on the due date.
b. The amount of homework will vary but, students should be constantly reviewing their work to insure retention of the information.
c. Homework is due at the beginning of the class period. If an assignment is not complete when homework is checked, the student will have one day to complete and turn in the assignment for half credit. Any assignment not turned in within one day of the due date will receive a zero.
C. Make-Up Work Policy:
a. If a student is absent, he/she is responsible for obtaining the work they missed and completing it in a timely fashion.
b. Make-up tests should be taken in a timely fashion at the discretion of the teacher.
D. Overall Grade Calculation:
a. Grades will be accumulated from the following areas throughout the school year – participation, homework, quizzes, chapter tests, group activities, projects, and bonus assignments.
b. All grades will be updated in a timely manner.
