What should I do if I'm absent?
If you are unexpectedly absent, please check the homework tracker/ Google Classroom for work you missed in class and homework.
What should I do if I know in advance that I'm going to miss class?
Please come see me if you know you are going to miss class. I can't promise that I will be able to get all handouts and assignments in advance, but we can develop a game plan together. The more notice the better!
I'm really not getting what we did in class today and/or I'm lost on the homework. What should I do?
If you have questions about the homework, first reach out to a classmate on the Platinum Team who might be able to support you. Always remember to check the homework tracker/Google Classroom for instructions. Email me if you still have questions. If you are ever feeling behind or in need of support from me, please don't hesitate to set up a time for us to meet in person. I am happy to work with you one-on-one before or after school.
Do you accept late work?
Yes, late homework will be accepted for no more than half credit before the end of the marking period. After the end of the marking period, late work will not be accepted for a grade. Again, please meet with me to make a game plan if you are falling behind.
Can I retake a test/quiz or revise an assignment?
If you are unhappy with your grade you should schedule a time to meet with me one-on-one, and we can work together to come up with a plan!
