I am thrilled to be starting my 26th year of teaching. This will be my 22nd year at Romona School. I've had the pleasure of teaching fourth, third and second grades. Before teaching at Romona, I was a teacher at Diamond Lake Elementary School in Mundelein. I graduated from Elmhurst College with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my graduate degree is from National-Louis University. I also have more than 60 credit hours in areas including gifted education, student centered classrooms and at-risk students. I had a wonderful summer with my husband and four children. We traveled to Gatlinburg, went camping in Wisconsin, went to EAA and swam in our backyard pool. It was a great summer, but I am anxious to get back to school and start the 2025-2026 school year!
