MONDAY: Bring your completed poster. Fill in the blank posters will be sent home with your child on the Friday before. This poster should help us get to know special things about your child. Please have your CHILD do the actual work with your assistance. Each child will have time on Monday to present his/her poster to the class. It will then be posted on the “Star of the Week” board in class. Feel free to send in additional special photos for the star of the week board. You will get your child’s poster (I will laminate the poster at school once the week is up) and any photos returned to you shortly after his/her week.
FRIDAY: Show and Tell! The star of the week is to bring ONE special item from home to show us and tell us about. Your child should be ready to talk about the item and why it is special.
If we have a day off during your child’s week or if your child is out of school on a day during his/her week, simply send the item on the next day.
