Three zoning bylaw amendments for this year's town meeting. Stephanie will be at the Selectboard meeting on Monday to present the articles to the Board.

Article A brings our zoning on non conforming houses into compliance with case law.

Article B creates new standards for long and common driveways and has the support of the fire district.

Article C aligns our marijuana regulations with those at the state level (particularly 935 CMR 500), creates development standards for cultivators, and bans outdoor cultivation.

This is the part of the cycle where the Planning Board advises the Select Board of their intended articles for consideration. The Select Board can ask questions and clarify as needed, then asks the Planning Board to hold a public hearing. Through the Planning Board's hearing process, articles may be amended or withdrawn., At the close of that process, the final proposed article will come back to the Select Board to consider a recommendation.
