Circulation/Overdue Policy

Circulation Policy:  

• • Kindergarten and First Grade students may check out materials for one week.  

  • Students in grades 2-6 may check out materials for two weeks.  Materials may be renewed a maximum two times provided there are no other students waiting for these items.  

Overdue Policy: 

No fines are charged for overdue materials at the elementary, but students are encouraged to return items on or before the due date. Failure to do so may result in the loss of check-out privileges.  Overdue notices listing materials that are due will be generated and sent to parents weekly by our automated catalog. Materials will be considered lost if they are more than 90 days past due, and the item(s) have not been returned. The original purchase price of the item will be charged for damaged or lost materials that need to be replaced.
