About Mrs. Carr
Mrs. Carr has been at Mary Welsh since 2016. She has a degree in K-6 elementary education/K-8 reading endorsement from Wartburg College, and a K-12 master's degree from the University of Iowa in school information literacy and technology.
Mrs. Carr loves reading, the research process, teaching about digital citizenship, and she is excited to share these passions and more with the Mary Welsh students!
The library is considered a learning place and an extension of the classroom. While in the library, students are expected to use time wisely, be respectful, responsible, and safe.
Our mission is to instill in students a life-long love of reading and to provide the knowledge, materials, and technology to ensure that all students and teachers are effective users of ideas and 21st century information.
