Good Morning William Floyd Middle School

Today is an B day

General Announcements: 

• School pictures are scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th and Thursday, October 15th.  Students will be taking their pictures during their gym period.  If you have gym on an A day you will be taking your picture on Wednesday.  If you have gym on a B day you will take your picture on Thursday

• Animal Science is NOT meeting today

• 7th Grade Student Council meets today in room 414

• 6th Grade Student Council is meeting in room 205

• Jazz Band is meeting today in room 501

• Select Choir auditions are this afternoon in the auditorium

• School Store meets today in room 315

• The Amazing Shake is meeting on Wednesday, October 28th in room 211

• ID Badges MUST be worn to school every day. Students who DO NOT have their ID Badge will have to go on the NO ID Badge line which will lead to consequences for not being prepared for school.  Replacement ID Badges are $5.00

• Cell phones must be turned off and stored in lockers during the day.  Phones should not be visible in the hallways, cafeteria or classrooms

• Don't forget to return your emergency card to the nurse.  It is important that all students have an emergency card on file

• The PTO is selling William Floyd lanyards for $1.00.  Stop by the 6th grade office to purchase a lanyard and show your Floyd pride                                                                                

• Attention all students who are leaving their instruments in the hall...Please do not leave your instrument in the hall outside of your locker during the school day.  Instruments larger than a flute or clarinet that do not fit in your locker must be stored in the band or orchestra room.  Speak to your band or orchestra teacher if you have any questions about where you should you keep your locker

• Breakfast is available to every student, every morning to ALL STUDENTS.  Start your day with a good breakfast at William Floyd Middle School.  Stop by the breakfast cart to pick up breakfast

Any Student who is interested in playing any sport during the school year 

must be registered on Family ID and cleared by the Nurse.
