Homework & Projects

Homework is very important in a student’s educational progress. It reinforces what the students have learned in that day. It also helps them learn responsibility and self discipline. It is a tool for the teacher so that he or she may see what concepts are mastered and which need to be emphasized.

• Students must copy their homework assignment every morning into their planner.

• Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.

• Homework will be checked every morning. 

• Students are expected to complete all assignments, unless an emergency arises. If this occurs, write me a note and homework may be completed the next day.

• If a student is absent, homework is due the day after he or she returns.

• Homework is graded based on being returned on time and being completed to the best of the student’s ability.

• If a student misses homework, he or she will be expected to make up the assignment.
