Our Purpose is to:
Advisory Committee: The advisory committee should include parents, teachers, administrators and community members. This committee needs to disseminate information about the programs, advise the district on coordination issues, review evaluation and other data, and advise the district on how to improve the Title programs. The committee must meet to determine how to spend Title funds. These meetings must be documented.
Purpose of Title I: To ensure that all children have fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and assessments. This can be accomplished by meeting the educational needs of low-achieving children, closing the achievement gap between high- and low-performing children, high standards for all students, enriched and accelerated instruction, decentralized decision making, improved accountability, high quality professional development, coordination and integration of services, expanded family involvement, extended learning time, and early intervention.

Purpose of Title IIA: The purpose of Title II.A is to increase student academic achievement by improving teacher and principal quality through high quality professional development and to increase the number of highly qualified teachers and principals.

Purpose of Title IV.A: The purpose of Title IV.A is to improve students academic achievement by improving a schools capacity by:
