Consequences:
1st offence: verbal warning
2nd offence: in class isolation and parent phone call
3rd offence: out of class isolation and afterschool detention
***Severe behaviors will result in skipping consequences.
Absent work:
Students will have one day for each excused absence to complete the work, according to school policy. Work that was assigned prior to their absence is due on the day they return. It is the student’s responsibility to retrieve notes and assignments after they are absent.
Late work:
Work will be considered late if it is not turned in by the end of the day in which it is due. Late work will be accepted for 10% off each day it is late.
Extra help:
I am available before and after school for extra help and by email. Feel free to contact me at any time.

pencils, composition book, 2 pocket folder, highlighter, agenda
Assignments and Grading
GRADE SCALE PERCENT OF WEIGHTED SCORES
100---90% = A Tests/ Quizzes --- 40%
89---80% = B Classwork --- 50%
79---70% = C Homework --- 10%
69---60% = D
59----0% = F
Tests and quizzes: There will be a test at the end of each major unit and weekly quizzes. Quizzes will be based on homework, readings, and class notes. These will help identify weaknesses in understanding before the chapter tests. Students should be studying nightly in preparation for these tests and quizzes.
Class work: Class work will include any work completed during the class time, including notebook checks, labs and projects that are assigned throughout the quarter. Further directions will be provided as they arise.
Homework: Homework will be assigned periodically throughout the quarter to help the students study and prepare for upcoming test and quizzes. Homework is due the following day, unless otherwise stated. Completion of all assignments is vital to the student’s success in the class.
