Students in grades 3 and 4 learn to play the recorder as part of music instruction. A copy of the notice will be at the bottom of this page.

Also, students in grades 3 and 4 participate in a program called Recorder Karate. Students will need to practice at home to reach the level of mastery required to earn belts. Each child is required to earn a minimum of five belts (there are nine belts total). Details about the program, expectations, and grading rubrics may be found in the notices attached to the bottom of this page.
