All students in grades K-5 participate in music class. Grades K and 1 have music class twice a week for 30 minutes. Grades 2 through 5 have music class once a week for 50 minutes. All Grade 5 students also participate in chorus once a week for 50 minutes.
Students may also choose to learn to play an instrument, and lessons take place after school at various buildings across the district. Students in grades 3 through 5 also have the option to join our Schofield band and orchestra. These ensembles meet once a week before school.
