World Geography

The focus of this course is the study of the world’s people, places, and environments with an emphasis on the Five Themes of Geography. The knowledge, skills, and perspectives of the course are centered on the world’s population and cultural characteristics, its countries and regions, landforms, natural resources and hazards, economic and political systems, migration, and settlement patterns. I-Pads are required and will be used on a daily basis. In addition, supplemental materials such as apps, books, and other pertinent items will be downloaded throughout the semester to help aid in the learning process.
